ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing and developing a team of legal professionals ensuring teams are delivering quality work as per client requirements and instruction.
- Firm grasp of litigation and document requirements.
- Familiar with both a consultative and technical approach.
- Managing an effective e-Discovery lifecycle.
- Successfully manage multiple workstreams.
- Perform quality control to ensure processes are accurate, particularly around document production and maintain accurate documentation on every matter.
- Critically examine workflows paying special attention to allocation of resources.
- Maintaining strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Proactively deal with and troubleshoot issues arising.
Senior Litigation Attorney Job Vacancy at Cognia Law
REQUIREMENTS
- A tertiary qualification in Law (LLB, Bcom Law, LLM)
- 5-8 years post articles experience with at least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Litigation Associate in e-Discovery
- The maturity and professionalism to be directly customer-facing with international law firms, corporate, and investment banking clients;
- The ability to be articulate and confident;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills;
- Demonstrable leadership abilities.
