Job Advert Summary
To facilitate the delivery of the correct stock level timeously at
site / article level with time spend around 60% Analytics and 40% Demand
planning. Levels of operational involvement varies between different
areas within the Planning team.
Minimum Requirements
BCOM Degree is advantageous
SAP experience is advantageous
2–3 years of retail experience
1-2 years relevant planning experience
Strong Analytical and Advanced Excel skills
SQL & ACCESS experience advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
Analyses flow of stock to spot trends, make deductions and generate solution
Source, analyse and integrate multiple data soruces, processes and information in problem solving and conclusion generation
Highlights incomplete set up to relevant stakeholders
Actions daily checks on master data new items, re-instated items ,status changes
Sets and maintains new vendor and new store set -up for replenishment
Sets and maintains forecast for new sites and vendors across articles – New articles delivered to sites
Ensures new site / article have correct order proposals
Ensures order proposal reflects special events impact
Monitors order to forecast plan and amends where needs be
Checks roster display (DC/Store) correct articles on correct day – Issues / anomolies escalated to Demand planners
Manages exceptions and approves site order
Ensures all site order proposals are converted
Submits orders
Runs and analyses supply chain report
Captures allocations – Promotional stock available
Analyses stock and other reports
Liaises with sites to address anomalies
Create orders against price increases
Replaces orders for OOS
Identifies on going / continuous non achievement of KPI’s by sites
Creates allocations for confirmed dormant stock
Creates allocations for stock ( including promotions ) per agreed rule and Allocation timeous and supports plan template
Communicates volumes
Monitors strike rates
Checks stock levels during promotion
