Description

As Sourcing Manager – Africa, you will be responsible for signing and onboarding mobile carriers globally with a strong focus on the Africa region for the purpose of terminating A2P SMS. The role offers a steep learning curve and high visibility – you will work closely with experienced souring managers and senior cross-functional leadership team members.

Requirements

• Develop and maintain strategic partner relationships with mobile carriers in the region
• Ensure contract requirements and deliverables are being met through the life of the contracts
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives with both internal business owners and suppliers to ensure ongoing cost reduction and service delivery
• Using this knowledge combined with market expertise, identify, select, and partner with mobile carriers to ensure competitive market advantage and quality service.
• Contribute to category plan and sourcing strategy for SMS globally

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5-10 years’ experience in sourcing, analytics, or a related field, with a preference for experience in telecom Industry
• Experience running data analytics with information from various sources and synthesizing this information into actionable outcomes
• Excellent relationship management skills and a proven track record of working collaboratively with suppliers, internal business customers, and senior management
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
• Should be flexible to travel
• Fluent in English
